In 2021, ROAWC launched an awareness-raising initiative about environmental protection for school students in Balkh Province. Aimed at increasing students’ knowledge and understanding of environmental issues and what every individual can and should do to protect their natural environment, the program was piloted in a few schools in Mazar-e-Sharif.
